Budget Car and Truck Rental of Wichita is taking applications for a customer service and Rental Agent at our Hutchinson rental agency. Budget offers competitive pay and benefits such as 401K matching, PTO, health, dental, vision, and other perks.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers using standard dialogue
- Address customer inquiries, such as explanation of charges, vehicle damage, directions, etc.
- Perform vehicle exchanges and extensions
- Monitor traffic control
- Inspect incoming vehicles for new damage
- Report damages to on-duty supervisor
- Scan returning vehicles back into system
- Provide computerized receipt to customer
- Maintain current knowledge and adhere to the guidelines on all company policies and procedures, new training information, pricing and promotions, etc.
- Support a team environment by assisting other agents and/or other areas when needed
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and use of computerized systems
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Retail and sales experience
- Previous experience working in an outdoor environment
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of customer service experience
- Professional communication skills
- Problem resolution experience
- Minimum age of 21
- Valid Kansas driver's license
- Good driving record
