Job Description

Position Summary:

The Renovations Technician provides the Hearthstone with Skilled labor in Renovating the Hearthstone apartments and public areas as supervised by the Renovations Manager.

This is not a Work from Home position. It requires in-office attendance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs all renovations to communities including but not limited to: framing, drywall, painting, minor plumbing, light electrical, appliance installation, cabinet installation and carpentry.
• Responds in a timely manner to complete assigned projects.
• Assures compliance with all OSHA, EPA, Federal, State, or local codes and guidelines.
• Responsible for care and timely maintenance of all equipment entrusted to his/her/their care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Accepts responsibilities assigned by management and accomplishes related tasks in a timely manner.
• Performs technical and mechanical work to refurbish and rebuild internal and external community buildings, amenities, and common areas. Meets The Hearthstone standards for cleanliness, appearance and safety.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, painting, drywall and carpentry is required.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Skills & Abilities:

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Experience: Minimum of One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in construction or remodeling preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Must be willing to take instruction and remain adaptable to work on multiple projects.
• Ability to communicate in English effectively with others.
