Job description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Renewable Energy Project Manager to join our

passionate team. The ideal candidate will lead the planning, execution, and completion of

renewable energy projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within

budget. This role requires a strong blend of project management expertise, technical knowledge of renewable energy systems, and a deep commitment to environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for renewable energy projects,

considering technical specifications, resource requirements, and regulatory compliance.

Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with client expectations.

Technical Oversight and Quality Assurance:

Provide technical expertise and oversight throughout all project phases, from site assessment and feasibility studies to construction and commissioning.

Conduct thorough quality assurance checks to ensure adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and performance criteria.

Risk Management and Mitigation:

Identify potential risks and challenges associated with project delivery and develop proactive

mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and maximize project success.

Monitor project progress, anticipate issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.

Client Communication and Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing inquiries,

and fostering positive relationships built on trust and transparency.

Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and goals, tailoring project solutions to

meet their specific requirements and objectives.

Regulatory Compliance and Permitting:

Navigate complex regulatory requirements and permitting processes related to renewable

energy projects, ensuring full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Liaise with regulatory agencies, environmental consultants, and legal counsel to obtain

necessary approvals and permits in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, renewable energy, environmental science, or related field;

advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.

Proven track record of successfully managing renewable energy projects from conception to

completion, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Deep understanding of renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind, hydroelectric, and biomass, along with proficiency in relevant software tools and analysis techniques.

Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build

consensus, resolve conflicts, and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements and permitting processes related to renewable energy development, with a commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $150,000.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift

Willingness to travel:
