Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Pathologist with a valid Delaware license to join our team remotely. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing speech therapy services to clients across various age groups and backgrounds. We leverage Q-Global access for performing virtual assessments.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' specific needs and goals.
- Provide direct therapy services using evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques
- Collaborate with clients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment interventions.
- Stay informed about advancements in the field of speech pathology and incorporate new knowledge into practice.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Delaware license in Speech-Language Pathology and current residing state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Speech Pathologist, preferably in a clinical or educational setting.
- Strong clinical skills with expertise in assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Comfortable working independently and managing caseloads remotely.
- Proficiency in utilizing teletherapy platforms and technology for service delivery.

Responsibilities
- Consult and collaborate with School staff and families in regards to students' speech and language deficits
- Conduct initial screenings as well as comprehensive evaluations in the area of speech and language to determine students' need for services or need of dismissal from services
- Participate in the IEP process in developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for speech therapy services
- Provide speech therapy sessions through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP
- Maintain all documentation required by the district and ASHA's code of ethics including, but not limited to, daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEP's
- Master's Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech- Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) credential offered by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Must hold a current license to practice in the state of Delaware
- Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development
