Position:Pharmacy Technician
Location: California (Remote)
Assignment Term: Immediate start - Temporary to Permanent
Shift: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST
Bilingual Skills: Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous
Overview:
As a Pharmacy Technician Clinical Support Specialist, your responsibilities include:
- Engaging patients via phone to provide services on behalf of their health plan, explaining clinical programs and benefits
- Identifying potential medication and health-related issues, promptly escalating them to the pharmacist
- Gathering provider contact information to facilitate clinical interventions
- Collecting necessary patient information for clinical interventions
- Handling incoming calls from patients, providers, and pharmacies, addressing inquiries professionally
- Need Bilingual (Spanish) looking for 4+ techs. Candidates being sent over cannot have large unemployment gaps.( 6 months max). Don'twant techs with hospital compounding experience as this position has nothing to do with that.
Additionally, the role involves:
- Active participation in process improvement and team meetings to enhance workflows
- Follow-up with hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and patients to resolve clinical concerns
- Preparation and dispatch of patient educational materials and other necessary items
- Scheduling telephonic or videoconference appointments for patients with clinical pharmacists
Requirements:
- Valid technician license in the state of residence
- Remote work experience is a prerequisite
- Proficiency in medication knowledge
Compensation: Competitive pay range of $19-22 per hour
