The Insurance Fulfillment Center (IFC), a subsidiary of The Marketing Alliance, Inc. (TMA), is a leading Insurance Marketing Organization (IMO) specializing in Life Insurance. As an IMO, we provide essential support to insurance brokerage firms, helping them navigate the complex world of Life Insurance products and services.

Job Description:
Are you a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of Life Insurance? Are you looking for a flexible part-time opportunity that allows you to work from the comfort of your own home? If so, we have the perfect role for you!

Part-Time Role & Training Information:

This position is offered on a part-time basis, with up to 28 hours per week. The initial training will take place in our Omaha office, after which you will have the flexibility to work remotely on a permanent basis, although you are welcome to work from the office if you prefer.

Schedule Examples (We will work with you to setup a schedule you want. Any of the schedules can be up to 28 hours per week):

  • Early Week Concentration: Monday to Wednesday, 9 AM - 5 PM, totaling 24 hours.
  • Split Week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9 AM - 3 PM, totaling 18 hours.
  • Afternoon Shifts: Monday to Friday, 1 PM - 5 PM, totaling 20 hours.
  • Full Days, Part Week: Thursday and Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with a one-hour lunch break, and Wednesday, 8 AM - 12 PM, totaling 20 hours.

These examples are meant to illustrate the flexibility of the role, but we are open to discussing a schedule that works best for you, as long as it falls within the part-time hours framework.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Life Insurance Case management is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Comfortable working remotely

Bonus Skills:
Experience with Ebix SmartOffice is a significant plus. If you have proficiency in using this software, it will be a valuable asset in your role as a Life Insurance Case Manager at IFC.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Life Insurance Case Manager at the Insurance Fulfillment Center (IFC), you will play a crucial role as the liaison between the Life Insurance underwriting teams at the carrier and the advisors we support. Your responsibilities include:

  • Relaying Underwriting Requirements: You will be responsible for gathering and transmitting all necessary underwriting requirements to ensure the smooth processing of Life Insurance applications. This includes notifying advisors of the need for medical records, financial documents, and any other documentation required by the underwriters.
  • Keeping Advisors in the Loop: Communication is key in our role. You will actively engage with advisors and keep them informed throughout the underwriting process. This involves providing updates on the status of their cases, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring they have a clear understanding of the progress.
  • Facilitating Case Movement: Your role is pivotal in ensuring that Life Insurance Cases move efficiently through the underwriting process. You will actively coordinate with underwriters, medical professionals, and other relevant parties to facilitate timely decisions on applications.
  • Timely Communication: We take pride in our commitment to providing timely and effective communication. Any changes or updates in the underwriting process will be promptly communicated to advisors, allowing them to stay informed and make necessary adjustments.
  • Approval Focus: Above all, you will be dedicated to being the driving force behind the approval of Life Insurance Cases. Your attention to detail, proactive approach, and dedication to ensuring all requirements are met will be instrumental in helping clients secure the coverage they need.
