Remote Mental Health Therapist

Michael Elliott & Associates works with clients who are involved in Personal Injury lawsuits. Therapists will be assigned cases based on neurological, cognitive, and/or psychological testing results. Therapist will meet with clients regularly to provide treatment based on clients treatment plan. Therapist will monitor treatment plan and make adjustments to plan as necessary. Therapists work in conjunction with clients Coach, Case manager, and other members of the team to ensure Client is receiving appropriate, consistent, and timely treatment. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Client will be assigned to Therapist based on results of Clients neurological, cognitive, and/or psychological test results and initial psychological evaluation. 
• Therapist will meet with Client, virtually, on a regular basis to provide treatment. 
• Therapist will recommend adjustments to Client's treatment plans as necessary. 
• Therapist will document all session notes within 24 hours of meeting with Client. 
• Therapist will work directly with Client to schedule sessions. 

Qualifications/Benefits:

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in counseling, psychology, or social work. 
• Possess and maintain, as a condition of continued employment, one of the following licenses, in good standing with State of Arizona licensure entity, at time of application:
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); or
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT); or
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Maintain own malpractice insurance
• Therapists hired for this position are considered 1099 Contractors

1099 Contractor Pay:

• $75/per 60 Minute Therapy Session per Client | $50/per No-Show 60-Minute Therapy Session (for the first 2 no-shows per client. Additional client no-shows are not paid out). 
• $37.50/per 30-Minute Therapy Session per Client | $15/per No-Show 30-Minute Therapy Session (for the first 2 no-shows per client. Additional no-shows are not paid out). 
• Compensation is provided once per month.
