Job description

Job Title: Manager Marketing- Remote
About Us:
Stericycle is a U.S. based business-to-business services company and leading provider of compliance-based solutions that protects people and brands, promotes health and well-being, and safeguards the environment. Since our founding over 30 years ago, we have grown from a small start-up in medical waste management into a leader across a range of increasingly complex and highly regulated arenas, serving healthcare organizations and commercial businesses of every size. Every day, we help our customers solve complex challenges by safely managing materials that could otherwise spread disease, contaminate the environment, or compromise one’s identity.
Join us on our mission to protect health and well-being in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way.
Position Purpose:
The Marketing Manager is a pivotal figure within the Stericycle Marketing team, entrusted with driving key product marketing and customer event/tradeshow initiatives. Collaborating closely with Commercial leadership, this individual spearheads critical business projects and implements strategic initiatives to realize growth objectives. With a focus on structured program management and analytical prowess, the Marketing Manager navigates challenging, often ambiguous projects with finesse, relying on solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Key Job Activities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies, including product positioning, messaging, and launch plans to drive product awareness and adoption.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and R&D teams to gather insights, understand product capabilities, and translate technical features into customer benefits.
  • Create compelling marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, product brochures, case studies, and website content, to support product marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate and oversee the planning and execution of customer events, tradeshows, and industry conferences, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and business objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, booth design, staffing, and budgeting, to deliver engaging and memorable experiences for attendees.
  • Develop pre-event and post-event marketing campaigns to drive attendance, generate leads, and nurture relationships with prospects and customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Management, and Creative Services, to ensure seamless execution of event/tradeshow marketing initiatives.
  • Evaluate event/tradeshow performance metrics, analyze ROI, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization.
Education:
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in a marketing, business, or finance-related discipline; MBA preferred.
Experience:
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful product marketing strategies, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Experience in conducting market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to inform product positioning and messaging.
  • Proficiency in developing marketing collateral and sales enablement tools, leveraging both digital and traditional channels.
  • Demonstrated experience in event planning and management, including tradeshows, conferences, and customer appreciation events.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with event/tradeshow best practices, including booth design, attendee engagement tactics, and lead capture strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence key stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on driving measurable outcomes and delivering impactful marketing initiatives.
It is the policy of Stericycle, as an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer, to hire the best qualified people available without regard to race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, age, national origin or ancestry, religion, status with regard to public assistance, order of protection status, disability, or veteran status.
