Responsibilities:
- Sell various types of insurance policies to individuals
- Develop and maintain a client base through networking and referrals
- Conduct needs-based analysis to determine the most suitable insurance coverage for clients
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance policies and regulations
- Prepare and present insurance quotes to clients
- Negotiate insurance terms and premiums on behalf of clients
- Process policy applications, endorsements, and renewals accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with underwriters to assess risks and determine appropriate coverage options
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in insurance or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze clients' needs and recommend suitable insurance products
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with telemarketing techniques and strategies
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
- Multilingual skills are a plus, especially if bilingual in English and another language
