Remote ECS Delta / Cleo EDI Consultant

Our client has an immediate need for an EDI Developer with experience working with OpenText Liaison ECS Delta and Cleo Integration Cloud for a 3-Month remote contract.
The position is responsible for the analysis, development, design, implementation, and support of EDI processes, systems, and applications. In addition, this position will provide technical support for existing EDI processes and systems, including Liaison ECS, Cleo Integration Cloud and multiple home-grown solutions. This position will report to and support the EDI Manager, working with IT and our trading partners to help gather requirements, set up mapping and translation details, and manage partner connectivity. Daily activities include setting up new integrations, researching, and analyzing problems, correcting translation errors, and reprocessing EDI transactions, and identifying opportunities to improve relevant processes.
Position Responsibilities and Duties

• Analyze, design, develop, test, implement, and support EDI integrations using OpenText/Liaison ECS Delta and Cleo Integration Cloud.
• Create and maintain interfaces between back-end applications and EDI systems
• Design and maintain all EDI maps to ensure compliance to business requirements
• Support with EDI-related issues & incidents; researching, analyzing, and resolving problems
• Work with the EDI Production team and EDI partners to resolve any operational issues
• Analyze current EDI implementation to make recommendations for improvements
• Create and maintain detailed documentation and process flows for all EDI integrations
• Provide status updates on all assigned tasks and integrations

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience with EDI (Transportation industry preferred)
• Experience developing maps with OpenText Liaison ECS Delta required.
• Cleo mapping experience required
• XML, ANSI X12, flat file, CSV mapping experience
• Strong knowledge of industry standards supporting EDI transactions: 204, 210, 214, 990, 110, 850, 856, and 997
• Experience with TMS WorldTrak and CargoWise a plus
• Development or scripting background with languages like C#, .NET, Node.js, Java, shell, SQL, or Python
• Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly
• Strong verbal and oral communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude required
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent
