Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Controller to join a mid-size technology company as their remote Controller. As the Corporate Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and implementing effective financial controls. This is a key leadership role within the organization, requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive financial performance.

What you will do:

• Manage all aspects of corporate accounting, including general ledger reconciliation, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation
• Oversee all accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
• Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Tax and Regulatory Compliance: Oversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns, including federal, state, and local taxes. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships
• Prepare and analyze financial forecasts, budgets, and variance reports
• Provide guidance on technical accounting issues and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams remotely and lead strategic initiatives and drive operational efficiency
• Manage payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee compensation
• Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement in financial processes

What you to be considered:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; or Masters
• US CPA designation required
• Prior BIG 4 working experience
• Proven experience as a Corporate Controller or similar role

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
