Form of workMaximus is hiring a Clinical Reviewer to support our TN PASRR program! The Clinical Reviewer completes quality reviews of PASRR Level 2 evaluations and writes Summaries of Findings for clients in nursing homes.
*This is a remote position.
Education and Experience RequirementsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reviewing documentation and/or assessments and applying clinical criteria to complete determinations, approvals or recommendations
- Determine need for and obtain any additional information required to complete actions
- Determine when escalation or consultation is required with supervisor, physician or related medical or related clinical discipline
- Complete reports or documentation in accordance with contract requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Preferred knowledge may include community support programs, long-term care assessment and level of care in medical, behavioral health or related programs
- Knowledge and understanding of medical and/or behavioral health diagnoses and prescribed medications
- Ability to collect data, define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Skillful in written and verbal communication
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work independently and meet timelines
Minimum Requirements:
- Master's degree required (psychology, sociology, counseling, social work, nursing, or other mental health related field preferred)
- 4 years' mental health experience with PASRR (Preadmission Screening and Resident Review) population required
- Experience with ID/DD is preferred.
- Experience writing Summaries of Findings preferred
- Experience reviewing clinical assessments preferred

Pay TransparencyMaximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.
