JOB DESCRIPTIONSkiltrek is looking for a Remote Big Data Engineer to join their Legacy Application team within the Shared Data organization. The team is supporting a number of products that aid in the advancement of modern healthcare data processing applications. This resource will be working with a highly Agile team to maintain a Big Data application that streams essential data to several internal products. The ideal candidate will be eager to advance their skills to continue developing modern software products.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS3-5 years of experience in backend software development using Scala.
Demonstrated experience working with Big Data tools such as Spark, HBase and Kafka.
Strong understanding of microservice architecture.
Experience in a Linux environment.DESIRED SKILLSExperience with MongoDB or Hive.
