Remote Appeals Nurse

A-Line staffing is hiring a Fully Remote Appeals Nurse in Ohio!!

RN Appeals NurseDetails:

• Location: 100% Fully Remote – must live in state of Ohio and have an active Ohio Nursing License
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

RN Appeals Nurse Compensation

• The pay for this position is $28-$32 (LPN) or $33-$36 (RN) per hour based on experience
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

RN Appeals Nurse Qualifications:

• Active RN or LPN license in the state of Ohio
• Must reside in Ohio
• Experience with Utilization Review, Denials, and authorizations required
• Must have solid computer skills

RN Appeals NurseResponsibilities:

·         Perform appeal review for medical necessity

·         Complete appeal cases (making determination, documenting outcome, sending out letter, and closing out appeal in system).

RN Appeals Nurse Preferred Qualifications:

·         Writing Appeal/Authorization outcome letters

·         Proficient with Microsoft programs, Outlook, Excel
