Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Remote AP Economics Tutor. As a Remote AP Economics Tutor, you will be responsible for providing online tutoring sessions to high school students preparing for the Advanced Placement (AP) Economics exams. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in economics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct online tutoring sessions for high school students preparing for AP Economics exams.
• Create and implement customized lesson plans based on the AP Economics curriculum.
• Assess students' understanding of key economic concepts and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their performance.
• Assist students in developing effective study strategies and time management skills.
• Stay updated on changes to the AP Economics curriculum and exam format.
• Utilize a variety of teaching resources, including multimedia tools, to enhance the learning experience.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents to address concerns and provide progress updates.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment to encourage student engagement and motivation.
• Stay current on educational best practices and implement innovative teaching methods.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Education, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise in AP Economics curriculum and exam requirements.
• Previous experience in tutoring or teaching AP Economics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Comfortable using online tutoring platforms and virtual teaching tools.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
• Patience and a passion for helping students succeed.
• Flexibility in working hours to accommodate students' schedules.
• Familiarity with the latest technology and online educational resources.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 7 per week
