Position:

Remote Account Manager for a Housing Company

Requirements:

Have a designated work area in their home with internet (laptop, printer, monitor, phone, supplies will be provided)

Be able to multi-task and work independently

Have excellent verbal and written skills

Be comfortable using a laptop and knowledgeable in Microsoft Programs

(Excel, Word, and One Note)

Have a professional and positive attitude and be a team player

A degree in Tourism, Convention and Event Management would be a plus but not

required

Prefer to have someone with experience in hotel sales or group reservations

Prefer applicant be located in the New Jersey (specifically Jackson) or Indianapolis,

Indiana area

Responsibilities:

Providing excellent customer service to our clients, teams, and hotel partners

Building housing sites for tournaments

Contracting Hotels for tournaments

Managing and Updating Sites as needed

Working with teams and hotels on room blocks

Tracking teams to ensure that they book through our site and meet the room

night minimum

Making reservations

Handling phone calls (Everyone in the office answers phones with a schedule

of who is on phones first each day)

Working with UIC (umpire in charge) on complimentary rooms for umpires

Handling complimentary rooms for staff and VIPs

Making certain hotels have rooming lists by the cut off date and follow up on

confirmation numbers

Do final checks on each tournament to ensure that each hotel’s system

matches our system prior to check-in

Follow up on reconciliations after the tournament

Keep track of final pick-up numbers by team

Send out invoices

Record invoices and rebates and keep up to date

Follow up on payment of invoices

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
