Your Responsibilities

As aReman Core Managerfor John Deere Reman - Springfield located in Springfield, MO, you willbe responsible to drive a step function improvement in utilization of Core at John Deere Reman. In addition, you will:

  • Lead a cross-functional project team to drive a holistic approach to core management for John Deere Reman by:- Delivering a data-based scorecard with clear lead and lag metrics related to core inventory, core utilization, core return, and core accounting.

    • Proactively identifyingcore shortages and take action to meet Reman customer needs.
    • Identifying excess core inventory and manage disposition.
    • Drivingimprovements in core return and receiving processes.
    • Innovatingto improve and expand core reclaim processes.
    • Aligning core accounting and core costing approaches to drive increased usage.
    • Prioritizingactivity related to Core Management and align priorities across the organization.
  • Develop training materials to engage the organization around core usage.

  • Provide regular updates to factory and division leadership related to Core priorities and improvements.

  • Develop business cases for investment needed as part of Core Management.

What Skills You Need

  • 5 or moreyears of experience working in a remanufacturing business in operations, logistics, supply management, engineering, or marketing.
  • Knowledge of core management and remanufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrated capability to collaborate across functional groups and drivea mutual goal with an inclusive approach.
  • Demonstrated leadership to drive change through ambiguity.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Relevant work experience in multiple functional areas (operations, logistics, supply management, engineering, or marketing).
  • Experience with multiple customer segments such as agriculture, automotive, construction, and/or forestry.

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelors Degree in a Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or Marketing discipline or equivalent experience.
