A registered RVT or team of experienced personal veterinary assistants (7 staff members per 1 doctor) are on-hand to provide support and case management aid.

Role Responsibilities

As a Relief DVM at Rainbow Veterinary Hospital, you will have the opportunity to:

– Provide comprehensive medical care to a variety of pets, including performing physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and developing treatment plans.

– Utilize advanced diagnostic techniques, including laboratory tests, radiography, ultrasonography, and other imaging modalities, to accurately diagnose and monitor the health conditions of the pets.

– Administer vaccinations, prescribe medications, and recommend preventive care measures to promote the overall health and wellness of the pets.

– Educate pet owners on various topics including nutrition, behavior, and disease prevention, empowering them to make informed decisions for their pets’ well-being.

– Collaborate closely with our experienced veterinary technicians and support staff, effectively delegating tasks and providing guidance to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

– Maintain detailed and accurate medical records, documenting all examinations, treatments, and procedures performed in accordance with professional standards and regulations.

– Stay abreast of the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills.

– Actively contribute to the development and implementation of hospital protocols and best practices, striving for continuous improvement in patient care and client satisfaction.
