We are currently seeking a qualified Relief Veterinarian for a temporary assignment with one of our esteemed clients. As a Relief Veterinarian, you will have the opportunity to work with various veterinary clinics during peak periods, staff shortages, or special projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in veterinary medicine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different clinic environments.
At RSVP you are on a 1099 contract, which means you are able to set your own hours and schedule. Our shifts are on a bid basis and you control your pay rate. Hospitals receive bid information and approve or deny based on what they can afford.
The yearly salary listed above is based on 20 shifts a month at $1000 per shift
Responsibilities:
- Provide veterinary services on a temporary basis to different clinics and hospitals.
- Perform routine examinations, vaccinations, and surgeries on companion animals.
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions and injuries.
- Communicate effectively with clients, explaining diagnoses and treatment plans.
Requirements:
- DVM State-specific License
- PLIT Insurance
- DEA License (Preferred)

Pay: $240,000.00 per year
