Job description

Reliability Engineer Superintendent
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Reliability Engineer that implements continuous improvement initiatives in plants manufacturing operations and oversees the reliability department in Grand Island.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for MTC Employee Safety, and the safety condition of the facility
  • Responsible for the accuracy of the PM systems
  • Responsible for employee training
  • Responsible for overseeing the R&M and MRO control (MTC items in stock)
  • Responsible for parts acquisition for planned jobs and for tracking downtime
  • Oversee the reliability and mechanical training departments at plant locations
  • Management on the production line, maintenance management and plant manager
  • Responsible for planning of workload and area superintendents
  • Responsible for crewing standards vs schedules with area superintendents
  • Responsible for equipment control in SAP
  • Responsible for working with department superintendents on RCA’s, corrective actions , and follow ups
  • Tracking of PM and work order completion rates in SAP
  • PM creation and correction with area managers
  • Oversee and manage utility costs
  • Other duties assigned
Qualifications:
  • Ability to read wiring schematics, electrical drawings, circuits, and computer programs
  • Ability to read and write more than one language preferred
  • Strong computer skills; including AutoCAD, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, people skills, and persuasive skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Food safety knowledge
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize well
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Ability to work 50-55 hours per week M-F with Saturday work, if necessary
  • Must be comfortable working with heavy machinery
  • Must be comfortable sitting and standing for long periods of time
  • Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $85,000-$115,000 and
  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
