The Relationship Banker is responsible for assisting with the execution of branch activities, including day-to-day delivery of client-facing services, processing transactions, opening and closing accounts. The role of a Customer Service Representative is to provide exceptional customer service and maintain knowledge of products, fees and stay current on bank offerings that will deepen a customer relationship.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with opening accounts and process transactions accurately, including but not limited to deposits, transfers, withdrawals and other transactions in accordance with bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Processes all transactions within assigned limits, maintains daily cash, and ensures that cash balance does not exceed established limit. Adheres to accurate cash balancing procedures.
- Researches and resolves cash differences.
- Answer questions and resolve customer concerns regarding services provided by the Bank.
- Opening and Closing Savings/CD accounts.
- Assist with opening/closing branch procedures as necessary.
- Monthly certifications.
- Review and verify daily reports assigned by branch management.
- Adhere to bank policies, operational controls, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of client and bank assets.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all bank products and services.
- Participate and contribute to the branch’s overall goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Skills:
- High School diploma
- Two years in customer service experience. Ability to manage difficult conversations to a successful outcome and positive customer experience.
- Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to identify document errors or variances and make corrections.
- Proficient MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook)
- Teller/ Banking Experience
- Efficient typing and data entry skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Capacity to be flexible, follow directions and work in a team environment to meet deadlines and other priority work commitments.
- Adaptable to change as CCB continues to grow and transition with digital transformation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
