Rehabilitation Unit Clerk (Req 3488)

This Rehab Unit Clerk position is located in our Rehabilitation Department.

Hours:

This is a full-time benefited position, 40 hours per week, day shift, Monday through Friday with hours typically 8am to 4:30pm.  

Salary Range: 

$21.81 - $30.88/hr, depending on years of experience

What you'll do:

• Support and promote the professional image of the Rehabilitation Department through efficient, helpful interactions with all clients.
• Maximize department productivity through efficient client scheduling, registration, collections and superior customer service skills.
• Have frequent contact with clients, patients and insurance companies by phone, in person, and in written correspondence, therefore, must be able to communicate effectively and pleasantly.

What you'll need:

• The minimum of a high school diploma
• Two to three years experience in computerized patient accounts and/or administrative assistant is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks with exceptional organizational skills.
• Excellent keyboard skills (accuracy and speed) and knowledge of various computer applications, including but not limited to: Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
• A professional appearance, deal courteously and respectfully with clients and patients, be able to learn and follow established departmental policies, be able to perform work with attention to detail, be able to maintain accurate records, and be able to contribute to a pleasant, positive working environment.
