Hours per Pay Period:  1.00 = 80 hours (Exempt)
Starting Wage DOE:  Commensurate with Experience

TheManager is responsible for the day-to-day directing of a comprehensive,multifaceted program for the Rehabilitation Services Department. Services mayinclude physical, occupational, speech language therapies, cardiacrehabilitation, home health therapy services and sports medicine. Ensurecontinuity and consistency across and throughout the department. Ensures thedelivery of quality, cost-effective healthcare services in line with theorganization's mission, vision, values, and goals. Accountabilities includecollaborative strategic planning, quality assurance of services, achievedepartmental goals and objectives, physician and interdepartmental relations,and personnel management.

Essential Job Functions

Incollaboration with Clinic and Ancillary Services Director, physicianleadership, other medical staff, and other health care providers, leads,develops, and revises quality programs which enhance the business unit. Provideinsight into departmental priorities to be accomplished and how resources willbe allocated. Acts as a recognized area expert within the facility and to otherhealth care providers.
Collaborateswith Director and CEO for strategic direction, program planning, development,and implementation for all aspects of
Assessesprogram and service offerings and needs of populations served.
Responsiblefor management of patient satisfaction for services.
Coordinateswith Marketing rehabilitation services, program development, and servicepriorities that support a quality-focused environment and the financialobjectives of the organization/business unit/department.
Overseesstaffing and staff education programs.
Practicesprocess improvement principles to assess and improve the quality of theservice/care provided within business unit.
Maintainscompetency in all organizational, departmental, and outside agencyenvironmental, employee or patient safety standards relevant to job performancefor business unit and ensures business unit and staff compliance.
Assists indeveloping, retention, recruitment, and leads a talented management teamcommitted to accomplishing the organizational/business unit goals, objectives,and corporate compliance.
Demonstratesand encourages an ethic of open communication and teamwork throughout theorganization. Builds an environment of shared commitment to organization goalsand responsibility to achieve quality outcomes.
Maintainsclinical expertise and participates in providing direct patient care in area oflicensure approximately 60% of worked time.
Supports andmodels behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic's mission, vision, values,code of business conduct and service expectations.
Meets allmandatory organizational and departmental requirements. Maintains competency inall organizational, departmental, and outside agency standards as it relates tothe environment, employee, patient safety, or job performance.
Performs all other duties as assigned or as needed to meetthe needs of the department/organization.

Minimum Qualifications
Education

Bachelor's degree in health care related field; Master's degree preferred

Experience

Two years in therapy related field, experience with management/leadership and program management preferred

Certifications and Licenses

CurrentMontana state license in appropriate rehabilitation services discipline
CurrentHealthcare Provider CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
CurrentMontana driver's license and the ability to be insured to operate vehicles
