Summary
Reporting to the Director, Product Regulatory and Compliance, in this position, you will be a key member of the Simplot Agribusiness Regulatory Department responsible for maintaining and ensuring accurate labeling and packaging for all AgriBusiness products.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Activities
- Collaborate with internal customers, Regulatory Product Managers and State Registration Manager to prepare product regulatory materials (labels, bags, tags, packaging, etc.) for all AgriBusiness products
- Communicate with marketing to ensure consistency in brand
- Create, edit and review new and existing product regulatory materials based on regulation
- Maintain specifications and standards for all product templates and requirements for various agencies, suppliers, vendors
- Manage vendor relationships on costs, projects, timelines, specifications and quality
- Maintain all artwork files, version control and change records of product regulatory materials
- Serve as point of contact for print requests document processing with Regulatory team, internal customers and vendors
- Communicate with external consultants regarding overflow requests and review artwork and other documentation prepared by external consultants
- Create high-quality files for vendor/production use
- Serve as final proofreader and editor of product regulatory materials for trademarks, grammar, typographical errors or other inconsistencies
- Identify areas for continuous improvement, develop and implement solutions to increase cost effectiveness and improve efficiencies
Departmental Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a standard operating procedure for position and contribute to departmental process and procedures
- Ensure communication and transparency as to status of projects
- Actively participate in team initiatives with observations, feedback and open communication
- Contribute to the development, implementation, training, updating and auditing of the AgriBusiness regulatory program to ensure compliance
- Serve as resource or back up for other team members
- Participate in business and employee training related to labeling guidelines and overall regulatory compliance
Typical Education
Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university
Relevant Experience
5+ years related experience and/or training
