- Achieve Quality Assurance Operational Objectives
- Contribute information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews
- Prepare and complete action plans
- Implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards
- Identify and recommend resolutions to problems
- Complete internal audits/inspections and participate in third party audits
- Determine system improvements
- Support change implementation - QCBD, Redzone, Food logic, Document compliance, tracegains
- Develop and Maintain Quality Assurance Plans
- Conduct hazard analyses for HACCP plans, FSMA plans and raw materials
- Update and develop programs, policies and procedures
- Updated and maintain GFSI documentation for BRC & SQF
- Identify critical control points and preventive measures
- Recommend critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions and verification procedures
- Validate Quality Processes
- Review all approved supplier documents
- Complete ingredient risk assessments
- Complete supplier risk assessments
- Review all production records to ensure quality and safety targets are met
- Recommend product specifications and quality attributes
- Participate in projects that measure production & document evidence
- Determine operational and performance qualification
- Write and update food safety & quality assurance procedures
- Maintains and improves product quality
- Complete product, company, system, compliance and surveillance audits
- Investigate customer complaints
- Collaborate with members of management to develop new product and engineering designs and manufacturing and training methods
- Prepare quality documentation and reports
- Collect, analyze and summarize information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions and re-validations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field and/or Formal training classes relevant to job.
- 1 - 3 years experience in food manufacturing field
- Solid knowledge of Quality Assurance recordkeeping.
- Solid knowledge of food science and testing procedures.
