JOB SUMMARY
This position requires effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Good clerical ability is a must. Person is responsible for obtaining accurate information to schedule services and will help facilitate health care delivery and patient care management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent. Physician office experience and Medical terminology courses preferred.
Training and Experience:
Excellent data entry and typing skills. Ability to type 25 wpm. Knowledge of medical terminology required (previous medical/clerical experience). Must have good communication and telephone skills, ability to deal with the general public in a professional and courteous manner and ability to exercise independent judgment.
