Position – Registration Clerk

Regional Health Systems is Northwest Indiana’s largest provider of community-based mental health care, primary health care and addiction treatment services. We offer adults and children—both uninsured and insured—integrated care through our community mental health center and federally qualified health center. Regional Health Systems is a member of the Regional Care Group.

Position Description:

To provide clerical and technical functions and assigned to assigned staff. This may include typing, scheduling, filing, research, transcribing, data entry, auditing, customer service, prescription refills, drug screens, arranging transportation, mail service, safety coordination, preparing meeting minutes and materials, ordering supplies and acting as resource to Regional staff.

Essential Function:

· Administrative clerical duties and support

· Confidential Duties

· Patient Transportation (If applicable)

· Transcription Services (If Applicable)

· Medical Records and Filing

· Supply Inventory

· Check in Deliveries

· Monetary Responsibilities

· Intake Services

· Scheduling, Time Sheets/Payroll Activities

· Policies, Procedures, Manuals, Resource Documents

· Productivity

· Ethical/Legal Issues – understanding of state codes and following standards

· Diversity

· Computer Literacy

· Teamwork and performance improvement

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 1-year secretarial/admin experience preferred
