Registrar/Receptionist - Holbrook High School
Contract Terms: Eleven Months
Salary Classification: Classified FLSA non-exempt
Reports to: Principal
Position Objective:
Provides support and assistance to counselors and administrators. Coordinates registration and maintains student files and transcripts. Answers and routes telephone calls and greets visitors. Process necessary reports as directed.
Performance Responsibilities:
Registrar

• Coordinates the registration and withdrawal of students.
• Prepares packets for class registration.
• Updates transcripts and files.
• Maintains student records.
• Processes requests for transcripts
• Tabulates grade point averages and class ranks.
• Prepares reports such as absentee reports, student schedules, and class lists.
• Assists attendance clerk, school secretary, guidance counselors, and administrators when needed.

Receptionist

• Answers and routes telephone calls and takes and distributes messages.
• Greets visitors and directs them as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of computer software applications.
• Two years of clerical experience.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn appropriate radio communications.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, students, parents and the community.
• Willingness to be trained on district related software applications including InfiniteCampus.
