BEI Tactical requires the below position for a future anticipated award.
This effort establishes the support for the Center for Seabees and Facilities, Engineering (CSFE) and Civil Engineer Corps Officer School (CECOS) Staff Services.
These positions are located at the Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC), Port Hueneme, CA. CECOS provides Seabees, Civil Engineer Corps (CEC) officers, facility engineers and environmental professionals with the necessary skills, knowledge and education to enhance lifelong learning and to provide quality support to the fleet.
The following position is required for this effort:
Registrar / General Clerk III
Duties:
o Provide student registration in support of approximately 65-75 courses
o Review and process student registration requests
o Determine if students on the initial roster have completed course prerequisites
o Monitor seat quota limit for each course
o Send student roster via email to Course Director
o Keep additional registration requests in a waitlist status
o Send email reminder to Course Director
o Confirm accuracy of student email addresses with waitlisted students
o Confirm final student roster
o Confirm graduation roster
o Update the student’s status to “graduated”
o Create and send certificates of completion for the graduated students
o Check registration email inbox daily and respond to inquiries within two business days
o Answer incoming phone calls, check voicemail on a daily basis, and respond to voicemail
o Process incoming paper registration requests and prerequisite waiver requests
o Refer incoming students to the CECOS on how to create an eNTRS account and submit registration requests
o Create eNTRS accounts and submit registration requests for students who do not have DoD ID numbers
o Correct any graduation roster discrepancies
o Generate and send Available Seat Report
o Generate and send Graduation Rosters Report
This position uses some subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence. The General Clerk III selects from alternative methods and refers problems not solvable by adapting or interpreting substantive guides, manuals, or procedures. Typical duties include: assisting in a variety of administrative matters; maintaining a wide variety of financial or other records (stored both manually and electronically); verifying statistical reports for accuracy and completeness; compiling information; and handling and adjusting complaints.
Requirements:
o High school graduate or equivalent
o Proficient using Microsoft Office 365 software suite including, but not limited to, MS Excel, Outlook, and Teams
o Excellent verbal and written communication in the English language
o Experience with and proficiency in student registration functions and systems-of-record
o Specific work experience with the enterprise Navy Training Reservation System (eNTRS) and Corporate enterprise and Training Activity Resource System (CeTARS) is preferred
