AAHA Accreditation: Frey Pet Hospital has proudly held membership with the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 1975. Achieving accreditation involves meeting stringent criteria, with only 12-15% of veterinary hospitals in the US and Canada meeting these high standards across 400 areas and 3,000 individual standards.

Position: Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine checkups and medical procedures on animals.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners to assess changes in activity or diet.
• Record vital information, including weight and heartbeat, in patient files.
• Assist in tasks such as taking blood samples or administering medications.

Qualifications:

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).
• Preferred experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital.
• Knowledge of animal behavior, anatomy, and common medical conditions.
• Proficient in administering medications and treatments.
• Ability to safely and effectively handle and restrain animals.
• Excellent communication skills with clients and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Expected Hours: 35 – 40 per week
Healthcare Setting: Clinic, Hospital
Schedule: 4x10, Rotating weekends
Work Location: In person
