Vital DiagnosTech is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Vascular Technologist/Specialist. As a Registered Vascular Technologist/Specialist, you will play a crucial role in performing vascular ultrasound procedures, assisting with the diagnosis and treatment of various vascular conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform vascular ultrasound examinations on patients using specialized equipment
- Assess blood flow and vascular structures to assist in the diagnosis of vascular diseases
- Position patients correctly and ensure their safety and comfort during procedures
- Capture and analyze ultrasound images of blood vessels, ensuring image quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with vascular surgeons and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze ultrasound findings
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Stay updated on advancements in vascular ultrasound technology and participate in continuing education
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Valid ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification in Vascular Technology
- State licensure as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Vascular Technologist/Specialist
- Proficiency in performing vascular ultrasound examinations and interpreting results
- Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Attention to detail and accuracy in capturing and analyzing ultrasound images
- Commitment to patient care and safety
