Location: The Emily Program - Anna Westin House – Residential Eating Disorder Treatment for Adults in St. Paul
Position Overview
RNs provide holistic and compassionate nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team to clients in an residential setting with a focus on treating adolescent clients with eating disorders.
Schedule
Part Time position, 0.3 (12 hrs/week), Evenings/Overnights
Hours: Evenings: 2-10:30p or 4p-12:30a, Overnights: 12-8:30a
Every third weekend required.
Compensation
Based on RN status and years of experience.
Shift differentials
- Additional $1.25/hr for evenings
- Additional $2.25/hr for overnights
- Additional 0.50 on top of evening/overnight differential on weekends
How Nurses Empower Recovery
- Provides client care through assessment, monitoring, and intervention to address health concerns appropriately
- Responsible with medication management including education, assessing adherence, administration in the residential setting, and monitoring for side effects in collaboration with provider
- Assists and supports medical and psychiatric providers with medical care coordination
- Recognizes and appropriately responds to medical and psychiatric to emergencies
- Responsible for accurate and timely documentation in the client medical record
Qualifications
- Licensed as an RN in Minnesota
- Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive
- Current Basic Life Support certification required (American Heart Association) within 30 days from date of hire
- Experience or strong desire to work in a mental health setting
