SalaryTEEMA Solutions is currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a rewarding long-term contract opportunity at a reputable corrections facility in Crescent City, California. This position offers an excellent pay rate of $93/hr for local nurses with a portion being approved for stipend pay. Travel Nurses receive $3800 per week (40 hours).
Requirements:
Valid California nurse license.
Minimum of 12 months of RN experience.
Passion for serving the underserved population.
Responsibilities:
As an integral member of our interdisciplinary team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care and promoting the well-being of patients within the corrections facility.
Nursing Care Provision:
Implementing comprehensive nursing care plans, including the administration of medication, therapeutic agents, treatments, and disease prevention measures.
Following physician orders and obtaining specimens for diagnostic testing.
Assisting physicians with medical or minor surgical procedures.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Collaborative Treatment Efforts:
Participating actively in the development of multidisciplinary treatment plans.
Contributing valuable insights as a nursing professional to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Patient Assessment and Evaluation:
Conducting ongoing patient assessments and providing appropriate therapeutic interventions based on their physical and psychological status.
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of patient treatment regimens, documenting progress, and adjusting care plans as necessary.
Documentation and Reporting:
Recording all nursing activities meticulously in medical records, including initial nursing assessments, treatment interventions, and patient education.
Schedule:
This is a full-time position offering a 40-hour work week, distributed across 5 days.
