Telemetry Nurse Position Available
Position Summary:
- Ratios: 1:6-7
- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour, 36 or 48 hours. No overtime billed until after 48 hours. Accepting 13-26 week contracts.
RTO: 7 days maximum
Float Requirement: Yes, required
Weekend Requirement: 4 shifts per 6 weeks
- Contract staff may be assigned to work a Storm Team or Hurricane Team during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Years of Experience: 2
- Traveler Experience: Not required

Required Skills: Telemetry, PCU, DOU, IMC, Stepdown experience. Interpretation of dysrhythmias, remote monitoring, pre/post cardiac cath, pre/post cardiac surgery, sheath removal, accessing ports, blood product administration, central line care management, PICC line management, cardiac drip-titrate Diltiazem and Amiodarone, post cardiac cath experience
Certifications: ACLS
Preferred: NIH, Charge experience
Patient Diagnoses: Congestive Heart Failure, Arrhythmias, Post cardiac Cath
Special Procedures/Unit Details: Unit specializes in cardiac patient monitoring, cardiac drips, sheaths pulls, TR bands, Femstop
Unit Systems: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
Scheduling Type: Self
Unit Orientation: 24 hours
Scrubs: Navy
