The Registered Nurse coordinates and administers quality patient and family care that is compassionate, holistic, respectful and value-driven. Has confident communication skills and acts as a patient advocate. The RN is accountable and responsible for clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of the surgical patient. Education Required : Graduate of an approved school of nursing, BSN preferred.
Related Years of Experience Required: One year of RN experience preferred, will consider new graduates.
Credential/Licensure Required : Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification or within 6 months of hire.
Shift: Working 36 hours a week, call rotation required. This position will work primarily in Outpatient Surgery Admitting/Discharging with some hours in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
