Job Description:
- Use RN education and clinical experience to review criminal history, adverse actions, and consumer complaints as they relate to nurses.
- Refer to NJ state rules and regulations to determine if the matter is a possible violation.
- Read disciplinary files and draft a summary to be presented to the board.
- Guide staff on disciplinary matters.
- Assist the Director of Nurse Discipline with additional tasks.
Skills required:
- Must be a NJ licensed Registered Nurse with 5 years of experience.
- Microsoft office, customer service, and general administrative functions such as data entry, computer skills, facsimile, email communication, walk in, etc.
- Microsoft Office and various state government electronic databases
Certification required:
- Must be a NJ licensed Registered Nurse.
Work hours:
- 7-hour core work day between the hours of 7:30-5:30
- Lunch period (Unpaid): 30 mins or 1 hour (selected by candidate)
