SalaryWe have immediate openings for Registered Nurses. Kindred Hospitals of Chicago, empowered by ScionHealth, are seeking Registered Nurses for our Seasonal RN Program! Our contracts offer 3 shifts per week for 12 continuous weeks with a payrate of $65/hr for Days, and $70/hr for Nights!
Kindred Hospital Chicago North Campus is a 164-bed long-term acute care hospital, we offer the same critical care patients receive in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit, but for an extended recovery period. Our team plays a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients. We are located alongside the North Branch Chicago River and surround by the greenery of Horner, Welles and Revere Parks at 2544 West Montrose Avenue, Chicago, IL 60618.
Kindred Hospital Chicago Lakeshore is a 103-bed long-term acute care hospital, we offer the same critical care patients receive in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit, but for an extended recovery period. Our team plays a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients. We are located in the heart of the city, with a view of the lake and surrounded by sky scrapers and just one block south of Berger (Albert) Park at: 6130 North Sheridan Road, Chicago, IL 60660
As a Registered Nurse / RN you will:
- Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
- Develop nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
- Communicate changes in patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
- Participate in discharge planning process.
Qualifications:
- Graduated from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing as Registered Nurse / RN or Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program as a Registered Nurse / RN.
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse / RN.
- BCLS certification is required. ACLS preferred.
- Minimum six months as a Registered nurse / RN with Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
