Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary
- The Registered Nurse is accountable for assigning and coordinating patient care for all patients in the department, utilizing the nursing process.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.
- Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate of a Registered Nursing Education program preferred.
- One year of clinical practice preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Current RN Licensure in the state of SD or “multi-state privilege” to practice is SD if residing in a compact state outside of SD required.
- BLS certification required.
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm; 72hrs/2wks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $25.75 - $38.25 per hour
