AMG Specialty Hospital - Zachary is hiring PRN RegisteredNurses, (RN) with ICU, 2 years LTAC or Step-down experience for NightShifts!
Excellent opportunityfor your nursing career. Some of the medical conditions that are commonlytreated include but are not limited to; Respiratory Failure requiringventilation, vapotherm, high flow, bipap, cpap, and nasal cannula. Depending onthe complexity of these patients, they can require sedation/pain management,pressor management, and cardiac/anti-arrhythmic management. Complicatedinfections requiring long-term IV antibiotics. Chronic non-healing woundsrequiring extensive treatment with wound vacs and frequent dressing changes.RN's will be responsible for direct and indirect patient care in the long-termacute care setting. Ability to communicate with physicians, CCO/co-workers, asappropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results ofdiagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately tochanges in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to performgeneral nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Louisiana Registered Nurse Licensure unencumbered.
- Acute care, med-surg, critical care or ICU experience is preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
