The role you'll contribute:
The Home InfusionRegistered Nurse is to provide exceptional in-home IV infusion therapy, nursing care, and response management. In addition, the Home InfusionRegistered Nurse will administer and monitor patients in the home during treatment and provide the necessary education on treatment regimen, condition management and treatment self-administration when appropriate.
The value you'll bring to the team:
- Travels to patient homes to provide IV infusion therapy via peripheral or central infusion lines.
- Uses the nursing process to plan and provide patient/family care. This includes assessing and evaluating needs and implementing effective care plans which are kept up to date, evaluated and documented.
- Coordinates patient care activities and maintains communication with other disciplines including nursing agency, pharmacist, and physician.
- Educates the patient/family about the patient's care needs and disease prevention.
- Teaches and Trains patient/caregiver modalities of treatment.
- Follows appropriate infection control measures.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
• Associate's degree in nursing.
• Minimum of one year Home Health Experience.
• A clear/active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Maintain a current, valid Florida Driver's License in good standing with a safe driving record and a reliable vehicle.
• Maintain valid personal automobile insurance.
Preferred qualifications:
• At least 2 years of recent medical surgical or critical care experience
• Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) certification credential.
