Post Anesthesia Care Unit / Recovery
Critical Care Unit where the patient's vital signs are closely observed, pain management begins, and fluids are given.
Position Summary

To do these things successfully, the work force must be competent, flexible, and adaptive to changes in health care delivery and technology. The Registered Nurse is responsible for performance of complex, individualized, family oriented nursing care in accordance with policies and procedures under the direct supervision of a charge/shift leader RN.

- Registered Nurses - New Grads to 3 years of experience: $10,000 (full time)
- Registered Nurses with more than 3 years of experience: $20,000 (full time)

- This position will require some night call but no weekend call.
- Surgical service is not open on major holidays and recognized Monday holidays.
- Hours of operation 7:30a - 8p M-F.

- Education: N/A
- License/Certifications: Current licensure from the Maine State Board of Nursing as an R.N. required. BSN preferred. BLS and ability to perform CPR required. ACLS preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of one year's acute care experience as an R.N. preferred.
