The Registered Nurse functions as a member of the healthcare team in a manner consistent with their scope of practice in Pennsylvania in concert with policies and procedures. The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation & documentation of care provided, and patient response to interventions.

5 West Oncology Overflow: The unit treats patients in the ages of infancy, to those yet to transition to adult care. All nurses on this unit are Oncology Certified. A great variety of diagnoses and wide range of patient ages make this a great learning environment and an stimulating and fresh nursing role…..something new and interesting each shift!
