Salary and Benefits

Responsibilities
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation
- Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
- Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
- Act as an advocate for patient safety.
- Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
- Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures, and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.
Experience Requirements:
- 1yr exp in Critical Care (eg. ICU, CVICU, MICU) or PACU Required
- Manage hemodynamic monitoring exp Required
- Titrate pressors, sedation, heparin, insulin drips based on protocol exp Required
Certification/Licensure Requirements:
- Associate degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing Required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required
- BLS-American Heart Association BLS Provider issued card required
- ACLS-American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required
- PALS-American Heart Association PALS Provider issued card required
- ASPAN preferred
On call: Nights and 2 weekend days/month for a total of 5-6 call shifts per month in addition to regular shifts. On call, Diff is 2.00 hourly.
The differential for shift work when on call is 25.00 hourly. Minimum of 2 hours paid.
