JOB SUMMARY:
The Avera Heart Hospital of South Dakota specializes in the care of the full spectrum of cardiac and vascular patients.
- Robust 16 week paid residency: 12 week bedside nursing preceptorship with 4-5 week multidisciplinary rotation with opportunities in OR, Cath Lab, Cardiac Rehab, Outpatient Procedure and ER
- Provide cutting edge Cardiac and medical surgical care with manageable nurse to patient ratios of 1 to 3-4
- Perform assessments, develop plans of care, implement and evaluate care

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Graduate of nursing program in May 2024
Previous healthcare experience preferred
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS:
- Eligible after taking the NCLEX for licensing as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required.
- BLS and ACLS preferred--will be provided if not present on hire
- Certification encouraged--may be eligible for hourly differential
The hourly range for this position is $30.50-$45.25. Actual hourly rate is dependent on experience.
