Responsibilities:
-Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient treatments. Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and assist with procedures as required.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting patient symptoms, treatments, and progress. Ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards in record-keeping practices.
-Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, therapists, and other nurses, to create and implement patient care plans. Effectively communicate with patients and their families, providing education, support, and guidance.
-Advocate for patients' rights and ensure they receive appropriate care. Provide emotional support to patients and their families, offering guidance and resources as needed.
Qualifications:
-Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia with an associate’s degree in Nursing Science or Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) to perform nursing duties in the delivery of outpatient and community based Behavioral Health nursing services. One year of experience as a Registered Nurse required.
