Maxim Healthcare is looking for Registered Nurses to become part of a dedicated interdisciplinary treatment team providing coordinated nursing oversight to individuals in residential Group Homes

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilizes the nursingprocess to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in a Long TermCare/Assisted Living Facility
- Performs focused interviews to identify specific needs
- Assesses signs and symptoms indicating physiologic andpsychological changes in the patient’s condition
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information fromhealthcare team members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses
- Documents the patient’s plan of care using identifiednursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursinginterventions as well as responses to interventions
- Performs interventions according to identified priorities,plan of care, and the facility policies and patient outcome standard
- Provides a safe, comfortable and therapeutic patientenvironment
- Initiates and evaluates patient and/or family education
- Uses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meetpatient care needs of an assigned floor/unit including establishing priorities
- Monitors safety and effectiveness of the environment andequipment
- Participates in activities to facilitate good interpersonalcommunications with the chosen facility
- Supports professional practice by observing the following:uses knowledge and practices in accordance with 1) the Nurse Practice Act; 2)Standards of Nursing Practice; 3) Standards of Patient Care; 4) JointCommission, state and local laws; 5) Patient’s Bill of Rights; and 6) MaximHealthcare, nursing and client hospital policies
- Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thenurse practices
- Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
- Participation and completion of Maxim's Competency programwhen applicable
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Successful completion of new hire training as applicable tojob site
- Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAArequirements
- Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to andfrom appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors,co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in theEnglish language is required
- Computer proficiency required
