As a Registered Nurse you will be working in our 13 bed unit, ED is looking for an RN to join our team who maintains a high degree of confidentiality possesses positive interpersonal skills and is customer service focused. Nurse Patient ratio is: 1:1. Here's What You Need
Associate's Degree Nursing required
BSN (preferred)
1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
2 years of Emergency Dept experience preferred
Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days Required
ENPC - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course 6 Months Required
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course 12 Months Required
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
Assesses the patient
Plans the care of the patient
Intervenes as appropriate
Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers
