Full Time position scheduled 36 hours per week on the 12's nights with a weekend and holiday commitment on the Cardiac Intensive unit
Cardiac Intensive
In-patient, 6 bed adult unit, mix of cardiac and medicine patients.
Treatment Team consists of RNs, Patient Care Techs on day shift.
Patient population consists of critically ill patients with ST elevation MI, unstable post cardiac procedure, Cardiogenic shock, Cardiac Arrest requiring hypothermia, or any hemodynamic ally unstable patients requiring pressers or patients requiring the Impella device or an IABP.
RN's are required to take Critical Care Core classes or test out. Also, ACLS required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / LICENSURE
• Requires current Michigan Nursing License
• Graduation from accredited nursing program
• New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years
• New graduate nurses, requires licensure examination scheduled within 45 days of hire
