Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff on assigned shift.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
- Utilize electronic health record systems.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing and currently licensed by the State
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must show ability to read and write in a legible and understandable manner
- Must speak and understand English
- Previous experience or completion of training program
- Must have knowledge in oxygen administration
- Must have working knowledge with IV Therapy, both central and peripheral IV therapies.
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care
- Positive attitude toward the elderly
- Strong leadership and communication skills
