Candidates will automatically be declined. **Only submit profile who can work schedule in posting and interested in the unit.?We are seeking a Pre/Post RN to provide care to patients having outpatient surgical procedures, inpatient and outpatient GI and Bronchoscopy procedures.Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin!We are seeking a Procedure RN to: provide care to patients having outpatient surgical procedures, inpatient and outpatient GI and Bronchoscopy procedures. establish goals and strategies for meeting the discharge or continuing care needs of the patient, family, and/or other care provider.Minimum Requirements: Facility Requirement: Traveler must have permanent address outside50mile radius of Madison(permanent address must be included in traveler's profile: resume, Medefis portal and all onboarding documentation must have permanent address listed). Experience:Must have experience recent experience in recovering sedated GI and pulmonary procedures such as ERCP, EUS, EGD, Colonoscopy, endoscopy/Bronchoscopy (some patients have general anesthesia rather than moderate sedation)Must be able to perform Moderate Sedation, and pre/post all levels of care including PACU/Phase I and Phase II recovery.Traveler must have completed two years of experience within last 3 years. Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital. Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks). Licensure and Certification: ??Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state. ?? BLS and ACLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY Reference Needs 2 references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only). Telemetry Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass UW Health Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start (not for clinic positions). UW Health Recruitment will send instructions to traveler 2-3 weeks prior to start date. Floating Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs. During the traveler s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract. Location:University Hospital, 600 Highland Ave, Madison, WI 53792Parking:Permit required through UW Transportation.
